Stephen D. Phillips addressed the topic of Deposing Defendants and Defendant Experts at the annnual Illinois Trial Lawyers Medical Malpractice Seminar. Mr. Phillips provided examples of cross examinations he undertook in actual trials.


Mr. Phillips is the Co-Chairman of the Medical Negligence and Publications Committees of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.  He has also served consecutive terms on the Executive Committee of that organization.

The all-day seminar, which has been approved for continuing legal education credit in the state, was held at the Westin Michigan Avenue hotel.
