On December 6, 2008 Stephen D. Phillips delivered an exciting speech at the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Medical Negligence Seminar in Chicago. Mr. Phillips spoke on Cross Examining and Deposing Defendants and Defense Experts. His presentation included the latest in courtroom technology and excerpts from cross examinations of Defense witnesses in cases where he recently obtained verdicts in the amount of 7 million and 3.18 million dollars in 2 separate cases in which the defendants did not offer any money to settle prior to trial.
