Kraft recalls 8,000 pounds of pizza

(Crain’s) — Kraft Foods Inc. is recalling about 8,000 pounds of frozen pepperoni and sausage pizza that may contain an undisclosed soy protein that could be harmful to people allergic to the ingredient.
The recall is for Kraft’s Jack’s Original sausage and pepperoni pizza made with pork, chicken and beef. The products were distributed in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington and Wisconsin.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the pizza. Northfield-based Kraft reported the problem to the agency.
