Jill M. Webb Recently Appointed to Committee Positions at Public Justice Foundation
Jill was just appointed to serve on the Diversity Committee and the Membership Committee of the Public Justice Foundation. Jill will be working hard during the next year to increase the diversity of the members of Public Justice. Public Justice fights for justice through precedent-setting and socially significant individual and class action litigation designed to enhanceconsumer and victims’ rights, environmental protection and safety, civil rights and civil liberties, workers’ rights, America’s civil justice system, and the protection of the poor and powerless. Its Access to Justice Campaign keeps the courthouse doors open to all by battling federal preemption of injury victims’ rights, unfair mandatory arbitration, class action bans and abuse, unnecessary secrecy in the courts, attacks on the right to counsel and jury trial, and unconstitutional legislation. The election for the Board seats will occur in July, 2007 at the Public Justice Foundation annual meeting. For more information about the organization you can visit its website at Publicjustice.net. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Public Justice Foundation, please contact Jill. Jill Webb is a partner in the firm of Phillips Law Offices in Chicago.
