Jill M. Webb featured speaker at American Association of Justice
On July 15, 2007 Jill Webb was a featured speaker at the annual convention for American Association of Justice. Ms. Webb presented “Taking the Deposition of the Defense Liability Witness - The Defendant in an Automobile Case and the Property Owner in a Premises Case.”
The American Association for Justice is the world’s largest trial bar. AAJ promotes justice and fairness for injured persons, safeguards victims’ rights–particularly the right to trial by jury–and strengthens the civil justice system through education and disclosure of information critical to public health and safety. With more trial advocacy, AAJ provides lawyers with the information and professional assistance needed to serve clients successfully and protect the democratic values inherent in the civil justice system. AAJ’s annual convention spanned five days, and had attendees from all fifty states, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Europe. Jill’s presentation was well received. We look forward to Jill’s next speaking engagement.
Over the past quarter century, no public interest law firm in the country has been involved in a broader range of high-impact, cutting-edge litigation. Public Justice fights for justice through precedent-setting and socially significant individual and class action litigation designed to enhance consumer and victims’ rights, environmental protection and safety, civil rights and civil liberties, workers’ rights, America’s civil justice system, and the protection of the poor and powerless.
